Storm Flooding in Duluth

This lower level structure in Duluth was flooded from a storm depositing some water, sludge, silt, and unwanted pesticides onto the concrete pad. Our SERVPRO of The Twin Ports team arrived very fast since We're Faster To Any Size Disaster. We pumped out the standing water and then removed the soil. The After Photo depicts some of our equipment from our Green Fleet. Shown are air movers, dehumidifiers and powerful axial fans to expedite evaporation and drying. Notice the "flood cut" on the walls. The non-salvageable wallboard was removed since it was contaminated. This allowed for faster drying without soaked material in the affected area and also for spraying an antimicrobial product into the wall cavities.
